Carlist.my launches Malaysia’s First Inventory & Response Management System

June 5th, 2014

Carlist.my, Malaysia’s No.1 Car Site, launches its new Response Management System as transactions of cars begin to pick up towards Hari Raya. This 1st in market platform is geared towards ensuring that car sellers advertise, monitor and manage their ads better, faster and smarter, to Sell More Cars.

Many classified sites have claimed to revolutionise the car seller’s advertising process, but sellers are still presented with the time-consuming task of individually typing all the information they hope will help them sell their cars while receiving little to no feedback on the performance of those ads. Those days are over. With Carlist.my’s Response Management System, all these struggles and more, are eliminated; making selling cars online what it should be – Rapid, Mobile, Smart. Mr Damon Rielly, CEO at iCar Asia comments, “The Carlist.my Response Management System is a result of over RM5m investment including market research, technology and marketing over the last 6 months. It is not only the fastest & most accurate way to advertise a car online, it also allows car sellers to understand how their advertisements are performing, who is enquiring on their cars and how to get more people to enquire so they can sell their cars faster.”

With 9 out of 10 Malaysians starting their car purchase process online, car sellers have had to evolve their business to meet this growing trend. “Through our interactions and research with car sellers, we realised that the industry needed a system that would make it easier for car sellers to make the full transition online; not only to advertise but also in learning how to take advantage of the nuances of selling through the digital realm such a real time tracking, monitoring and management. We believe that the Response Management System meets those needs and empowes car sellers with the tools to make quick and accurate decisions based on precise data to drive their business forward,” added Mr Rielly.

In the weeks leading up to yesterday’s launch, the speed of the Carlist.my Response Management System was put to the test in a Speed Challenge, pitting the Response Management System against 600 car sellers across 411 dealerships utilising the various available platforms in market to create an advertisement. The result, a 99% win ratio out of the 600 challenges completed. “The Carlist.my Response Management System makes it simple and fast for car sellers to advertise their cars. It is the first of it’s kind in the industry because of its speed, functionality, and intelligent system. It is very exciting to release technology of this calibre here in Malaysia, we are helping the automotive industry to thrive in a digital world,” concluded Mr Rielly.
